We are currently seeking to hire a Deckhand at our Kotzebue, AK location.
The Deckhand is responsible for ensuring the ship holds are properly maintained, while maintaining safe working conditions on the vessel.
The Deckhand will perform daily inspections of the deck to ensure that all safety standards are met, and maintenance requirements are followed.
They will be responsible for keeping the interior and exterior of the ship clean, while ensuring that they are following company and company-affiliated standards, rules, and regulations.
They will also ensure that all crew members are following standard procedures and work orders.
This position requires a team player, with a focus on detail and organization.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred, or equivalent combination of education and training.
Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug test.
