Essential Adjunct positions are on a semester-by-semester contract basis.
Successful acceptance into the adjunct pool does not guarantee an offer of a contract.
The Chukchi Campus is looking for adjunct faculty/part-time instructors.
Duties to include instructing and advising students in the related subject matter and develop a course outline, syllabus, teaching materials, and tests as needed.
Subject areas include but are not limited to:
Accounting Alaska Native Languages Alaska Native Studies Anthropology Applied Art Applied Business Art Automotive Biology Business Administration Chemistry Communication Computer Information and Office Systems Culinary Arts Developmental Education Early Childhood Education Education Emergency Medical Services English Fire Science Health History Human Services Journalism Justice Library Science Linguistics Mathematics Natural Resources Management Philosophy Political Science Psychology Recreation Rural Development Rural Human Services Social Work Tribal Management Welding and Material Technology Classes may be taught in person, online or via audio conference Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Candidates will be evaluated on suitability of their academic preparation, past teaching experience, and potential for providing high quality instruction to undergraduate students.
Preferred Experience & Education:
Expertise and experience relevant to the effective teaching of the specific subject that the candidate is being hired for.
Required Experience & Education:
Masters in subject area preferred, but at minimum, demonstrated experience and expertise in the identified subject areas required.
Salary Information:
This is a part-time, adjunct represented temporary position.
New hires will be placed on the adjunct salary schedule as outline in the UNAD CBA, based on education and experience.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
