Description
SUMMARY
The Project Coordinator oversees the daily activities of core drilling services and operational support to the ongoing drilling activities, acts as the liaison between drilling contractor and contract client, acts as the company representative on drill programs. This position reports to the General Manager, Tuuq Drilling.
SCOPE
The Project Coordinator represents the company on drill programs, works a rotational schedule (4x2 or 2x1), able to work with diverse groups of people, knowledge and experience of drilling processes and technology.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Being an advocate for safety by maintaining safe work areas and complying with all relevant safety standards, policies and procedures.
Comply with all Company and Client regulatory requirements and standards.
Remotely supervise drill program operations and activities.
Manage personnel and assets at drilling locations.
Interface with customer to provide daily status reviews and services.
Monitor daily progress of job or projects.
Works independently under general supervision, requiring normal guidance and review.
Provides some technical guidance and work direction to field staff.
Handles special projects, as assigned.
Develop effective relationships with the customer to achieve Company and Client goals.
Track safety and production performances daily.

Qualifications
THIS POSITION REQUIRES
High School Diploma or equivalent.
8 years drill supervisory experience.
Industry knowledge.
Proficient with spreadsheets and other PC programs.
Familiar with budget processes.
Ability and willingness to manage conflict and resolve issues.
Good managerial/leadership skills.
Valid driver's license.
Physical Demands: Employees are regularly required to sit, use hands, fingers, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear. They must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
